Such a magnificent display that belittles many affluent cities in the world – fireworks at 2015 New Year’s Eve celebrations all over Metro Manila made me wish I were home! On the other hand, I feel sorry for the unfortunate injuries this has caused. It is said that there have been less than 600 people injured this time, 40% less than last year’s. That is still 600 people with wounds, one or two less fingers or dead. Does that justify the pleasure of 12 million residents in the city?
Still, what a spectacle!
