Visit PhilFest 2016 in Tampa, Florida from April 1-3 for a chance to experience Phillippine fiesta like how it is done back home!

PhilFest offers a three-day immersion in Filipino food, merchandise and non-stop entertainment with the likes of TFC’s Gerald Anderson, Canadian singer Lilac Cana, Fil-Am comedian Rex Navarrete, Poca Rafael, Don Tagala, Philip Mahoney and hundreds of local performers like the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble and the Philipppine Choral Group.

PhilFest is a project of the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. and is now on its 21st year. The festival will be held at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex located at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL 33626.

In 2015, the festival was able to hone more than 15,000 visitors in one weekend.

All food vendors and merchandise are Filipino-based – you can eat all the pancit you can eat, not to mention halo-halo, carioca and other Philippine desserts!

Non-stop entertainment is also provided at the festival stage as well as the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center. Cultural exhibits are also on display at the Center. If you have talent to show off, don’t forget to join in-house competitions like Tawag ng Tanghalan and Tanghalang Pambata. Do not forget that on Saturday night, the youth sector dominate the scene with Revolution, a dance contest and youth night celebration.

Bahay Kubo

One of the unique features of the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex is the Bahay Kubo, a replica of the typical bamboo houses found in the Philippines. At PhilFest, you get to enter the Bahay Kubo.

Entrance to PhilFest 2016 is only $7.00, but one can purchase advance tickets at select stores in the Tampa Bay Area for only $5.00. Children 5 and under and military veterans enter for free.
